The garden is part of a house in Guimarães.

When the project for this garden began, the space was landscaped, but the client wasn't completely satisfied. After discussing their ideals and expectations, the following list of objectives for the renovation project was developed:

- Increase and enhance the garden's usable space;
- Add color and texture;
- Create a vertical garden on the wall near the house's entrance;
- Introduce and frame a swimming pool in the garden;
- Increase the space's privacy by planting hedges;
- Reuse as many existing species as possible.
